Summit Dance Works is committed to the Pikes Peak community. We believe that investing our talents into our young people will help build a more promising future. But our commitment doesn’t end with dance instruction.
We also have worked with the local dance community to raise money for a variety of important causes and charities. At Summit Dance Works, our goal is not more trophies on the shelf. It’s a stronger, healthier community, where young people can realize the amazing opportunities in front of them.
The Meraki Project will host its 1st Intensive and Show on February 17-19, 2017. This event will be donating proceeds to the local Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind. This event will take place in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Project Benefit Show
Danceworks of Colorado Springs hosted two benefit shows that raised over $26,000.00 for different charities! These shows let dancers bring their passion to life and use their art to help raise money for others.
Circle Of Hope Regional Ambassador
For the dance season of 2014-2015, Lyndzi Barnes was one of the first regional ambassadors for The Circle Of Hope Cancer Charity Campaign. This organization raises money for dancers, dance teachers, and studio owners that have battled or are currently battling cancer. They provide financial and emotional support while raising awareness for these families in the dance world.
